- What a great time we had last Sunday at Ottawa’s Britannia Park during the special closing ceremony of AlivEducation 2017 Summer Math Camp µinterlude with AlivEducation family picnic!
We don’t have exact words to express our feelings of gratitude to all of the participants of the event but we owe you to serve more and the community we belong to. We know some parents, students and friends of AlivEducation couldn’t attend the event in spite of their best intention, but we do appreciate their heartfelt support.
At the event, on behalf of AlivEducation team, I shared some of the success stories of our students including their impressive enthusiasm in math learning. As expressed our determination echoing the famous quote of Abraham Lincoln: “The Best Way to Predict the Future is to Create It”. Indeed, in AlivEducation, we believe that we can’t make our children predict the future but we sure guide them to invent it. Keeping this in mind, during our math summer camp we were able to demonstrate our students not only the connections of math in our everyday lives but they created them. Some 3 dimensional geometric objects that they created can be seen at the poster below:
Our students know that math is the language of nature and therefore, they must learn math to understand the mystery of nature and as a result they are in the mission of “To Know the Unknown, to See the Unseen and to Conquer the Unconquered”.
Your children too can join this creative journey of exploration.
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
—
