Dr. Nasrin Khan Clinical Researcher with 20+ Years of Expertise. A highly accomplished clinical researcher with an extensive background spanning over two decades in both basic and clinical sciences. She holds dual Doctorate of Philosophy degrees, specializing in Bioanalytical Chemistry from the University of Ottawa and Solid State Inorganic Chemistry from Moscow State University, Russia. Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Khan has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the field. She has been the recipient of prestigious scholarships, including Visiting Fellowships in Canadian Government Laboratories sponsored by NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada). In 2018, Dr. Khan made a strategic shift in her career path, transitioning from basic science to the dynamic realm of clinical research. She has since been an invaluable member of the Ottawa Pediatric Bone Health Research Group at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Research Institute. Dr. Khan possesses a wealth of experience in multidisciplinary research, with a robust portfolio of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals. Her research areas encompass Chemistry, Biomolecular Sciences, Epigenetics, Pediatric Bone Health, and Rare Bone Diseases.
